Teachers & Staff

The backbone of YIAL, and one of its main strengths, is its Arabic instructors. As a student, especially in a private course, your success is largely dependent upon the competence and dedication of your instructor. Our idea was to make all instructors part-owners of the institute in order to attract the best Arabic teachers in the country, a key step in ensuring that as an Arabic Institute, YIAL is simply unsurpassed.

Indeed, when word got out that a teacher-owned institute was opening, we were overwhelmed with requests by Arabic teachers to join the institute. We were thus able to hand-select the very best and experienced Arabic teachers from all across Yemen, creating the extremely competent and enthusiastic staff we have today. All of our instructors have at least a B.A. in Arabic or a closely related field, at least 4 years of experience as an Arabic teacher, and a sincere dedication to teaching Arabic as a second language.
